I'm sorry that I could not attend the services for my Aunt Vonnie. She was an important part of my life growing up in Minot. I have fond memories of her genuine care and concern for both me and my brother Brian when we were boys. She did a lot for us and for my mother Rosemary. I'll always remember how soft and soothing her voice was and how patient she was with us. I remember visiting her home often as a child and later when we would pull into the driveway of her Minot home, we would most often find her working in the yard or garden. Please be assured that she touched my life and the life of my immediate family in many ways. We will miss her but our sadness is ultimately defeated by our fond memories of "our" Aunt Vonnie. God bless, Duane
