May God bless Steve and his Family. I had a professional relationship with Steve while stationed at Minot AFB from Aug 1997 to Nov 2000. I worked at the base jet engine shop and Steve was our Jet Engine Quality Assurance Inspector. Steve was the kind of person you "Immediately Like" the 1st time you ever meet them. I too applied and received my FAA A&P Mechanic's Certificate, but Steve did all the ground work. He got the FAA Officials to visit the base so we could get our initial permission to test, he arranged for the school instructors to teach the classes, and he even found someone for us in Minnesota to perform our "Oral & Practical" Tests with. I enjoyed working with Steve the short stay I had at Minot, he was the kind of person that leaves a lasting impression on you because of his enthusiasm and his work ethic. I pray the Lord will ease Steve's family's sorrow, but I am confident he is in a better place. May God rest his soul.

My deepest sympathy to the whole family. TSgt Linderleaf (at the time) was my first instructor on the TF33 engine at Minot AFB, and taught me so much. If it werent for people like Steve I probably wouldnt be where I am today, He was a great mentor, instructor and member of the USAF. My heart and prayers go out to the whole family. Steve touched alot of people and will be greatly missed.
Best regards,

Steve will be missed greatly. He loved his family so much and spoke of them with such love and pride. God bless and keep wrestling with the angels.

To The Linderleaf Family,

Sorry for your loss. Steve was a wonderful and caring man in many ways. Steve helped me and my family many years ago back in Michigans Upper Peninsula on a dark winters night on Highway 117 outside Ingadine Michigan. If it was not for Steves kindness and willingness to help me that night me and my family would not be where we are today. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. If there is anything we can do
let us know. God Bless You All!
