Memories for Rosemary

From: Susan Davy

Dear Marlow, We were so sorry to hear of Rosemary's passing.
I remember in the 1980's making mono prints with her and coming to her great little shows in Flaxton. She came to my studio a few times to teach me the basics of rosemalling painting....she was the best. Bless her. Sincerely, Tom Deloughery and Susan Davy

Marlow,

We were sorry to read of Rosemary's death in the MDN. I knew her only
slightly, but saw a few of her paintings on display in Crosby bank.

Marlowe,
My sympathy to you. Rosemary was quite a woman. We had so much fun at art shows. I treasure her chicken watercolors and the umbrella prints which, if you remember, she had thrown away and you took them out of the trash. I think all of them sold. She was amazed at you. She was so kind to my kids, Elizabeth has the umbrella print. I remember Rosemary laughing at you for doing that. Her work will preserve her memory. God bless.

My sincere sympathy to Rosemary's family. Twenty-five years ago I bought two butterfly paintings from her and I still just love them, also from our family we received an old building one on our 25th wedding anniversary. We have truly enjoyed all three of them. I thought she was a very special gal. I know she will be truly missed and our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sincerely,
Jim & Karol Jean Wolla

P.S. I only heard about her death yesterday from a former neighbor of yours.
