Memories for Ralance

From: Kathy Chegwidden(Diana Sevland's Daughter)

In 1998 I asked Ralance to come to Magic City and teach my Independent Living class how to make Date Cookies. I told my teacher that my Great Great Uncle was coming and she told me that there was no way I had a great great uncle alive and I kept saying yes. I guess she thought I was adding too many greats on. Any how he showed us how to make date cookies and then entertained the class with his stories of the coal mines and his beautiful singing. Last year he became a great great great uncle to my daughter who is 9 months old. He will be deeply missed.

Donna & Family,

I am so sorry to see that your father has passed, I'm sure that he has now continued his beautiful singing with your mother. I will cherish the toothpick holders he gave me and my Mom when we visited Minot a couple of years ago. May God bless you and comfort you and your family during this time.
