Memories for Patricia
From: Patti Fjelstad
Cassandra,
My heart goes out to you and your family during this sad time. Find peace in the thought your mother is no longer suffering. She was a wonderful person and will be missed by all of us.

Wow where do I begin...Pat will be missed so much by us here at the Clinic. I will never forget her smile and the laughter that she had inside. It truly amazes me how strong and brave she was throughout her chemo and treatments. She was such a great person and so fun to work with. We always picked on each other but it was all out of fun and we both knew that it was all out of fun. God sure is going to get a good angel that is for sure and she will be our guardian angel. Thinking of you and your family during this time. Just remember all of the good times and memories of Pat to help you through this time. Praying for you and your family. Rachelle Vannett

To the family of Pat,
My sincere sympathy goes to all of you. Pat was an amazing person! She might have been samll in size but her strength and endurance made up for it. I have worked with Pat for the last 12 years. She was an inspiration to everyone. She would come in my office often and tell me about her family, especially her grandson, Austin. She was so proud of all of you!! She will be missed by many! God Bless you at this most difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear about Pat. She was one of the best babysitters I ever had and I will never forget playing Yahtzee with her. :) She let me know it was ok to get crazy and scream out loud once in awhile! My heart goes out to you, Curt, Rachel, Rebecca, and Cassandra. Your wife and mom was a wonderful person and I am glad to have known her.

Pat was an incredible person. We used to visit in the cafeteria and at church. She was so strong and excepted everything that came her way. She was so proud of her family, and the excitement of having a grandchild, and an upcoming wedding. She will be missed by all her knew her. You are all in my prayers.

My dearest friend, Pat. I am so going to miss our chit chats. I will always cherish our coffee parties we had. Your infectious laugh will always echo in my ears. All of our diets we went on together that ended in ...."We will start again tomorrow" ....the laughter and the tears we shared will always be wonderful memories. I know you will be watching over me now on my trips everywhere when I get lost. I never did find Medina when you lived there!!!! Thanks for all the times you gave me directions!! I will miss my pen pal greatly. If I ever come across your email in Heaven you will be hearing from me!
Curt and family....our thoughts and prayers will always be with you in the process of healing. You will always have great memories to cherish and know that Pat will always be with you. May you find comfort in this.
PS Curt ...thanks for the directions to Minot...I know Pat is giving you a thumbs up and she will be watching to make sure I stay on the right road!! God Bless

Curt, Rachel, Becca, Cassandra, and family:
I think if you looked up the word "fighter" in the dictionary, you'd find a picture of Pat.
She sure loved all of you - we got to hear so many stories! She was so proud of her daughters, and she truly loved being a grandma.
I enjoyed being her supervisor for the last 4 years - it was never a dull moment with her around! We here in Clinic HIM have many great memories.
Be there for each other...

A person reaches in three directions, inward to oneself, up to God, and out to others...and I can honestly say Pat did all three...from the first day she reached out to all of us in the support group, she truely became one of the sisters. We will deeply miss her, and never forget her.

My heart aches for you all.
I heard of Pat's passing last Sunday, and have had all of you in my thoughts and prayers ever since. I think of Pat often, throughout my day, and remember her optimistic attitude and beautiful smile. She loved all of you girls so much, and was incredibly proud to be Grandma to little Austin. She brightened up our Why Catholic group with her stories and inspiration.
She is loved by so many, and will be missed by everyone who knew her. God has truly gained a beautiful angel. My heartfelt sympathy to you all. Know that you are not alone in your sorrow, but find comfort in knowing that she is smiling down on us all. May God continue to bless Pat.
