Dear Shirley & Family;
I am sorry to hear of your earthly loss of the love of your lives. But even at his passing we can rejoice in the fact that we will see him once again.
The memories of him and his life will fill a void in our lives even though gone physically, he will still remain in our hearts.
It seems like only yesterday that he drug me home from the unemployment office to work on the farm. I can still see the look of surprise on your face. But because he cared and had a heart for the Lord things worked out. Because of him and yourself I found some of the richest things in life. A friend and what I would consider the greatest thing that could happen to anyone the Lord Jesus Christ. I hope that Melvin made all of your lives richer because of who he was and the life that he lived.
As for me I know that he did. I am proud to have known him. He made a difference.
May the Lord bless each of you and your lives in His own special way.
