Memories for Marvin From: Bryan Vendsel Betty and Family: Marv was a wonderful man. I have not seen
him in years but have thought of him often as I think about my
younger years. May he rest in peace. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Bob & Ruthi Ostgulen To Betty and the Family... --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Carole A. Nancy and family, --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Rhonda Bugbee Marvin was always one of my favorite "Carpio people"
- his ready smile and story was only topped by his gift of listening.
I remember the charge book at the store, which was a wonderful
thing for a "farm kid" and saved me many times. I also
used to get a chuckle when he would get in all the candied fruits
Mom needed for the fruitcake and then he'd also go down to the
bar to get the Mogan David she needed for it too - cuz she just
couldn't do that. She'd ask him and off he'd go. What a guy!

We remember Marv and Betty for their friendship and kindness. One year, when the teacher paychecks were delayed, Marv allowed us to charge our groceries until we could pay. We have fond and joyful memories of those times when we lived in Carpio, ND. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
