We are so sorry for your loss. Manfred was such a big part of my family and my growing up years. This was Manfred's favorite season, so it is fitting that he goes to be with the Lord this time of year. May you find comfort in your memories as we all will.

To Irene and family,

Through your pain and grief my you find comfort and peace in the knowledge that Manfred is with the Lord. He is in a much better place now and will forever be looking down on you and protecting you.

I am grateful to have known such a kind and gentle man. Thanks for sharing him with all of us in Bowbells. He will be missed.

Manfred was a great guy and a good friend! I spent many wonderful days hunting pheasants with him in South Dakota.

Irene and Family,

I pass my deepest simpathy for you. I have to say that it was an honor to have known and to have worked for Manfred. He taught many of us "young kids" what real work ethics were, and am proud to say that what he taught me still holds true today. I had an American flag flown over my base here in Iraq for the Carl Oftedahl Post #127, and I am dedicating that flag in memory of Manfred.

Your family is in our prayers as you struggle with this difficult time. Manfred was a good man. Always willing to help. He was like a second father to Jill Undhjem (neighbor), and watched over her children Brandon,Devin and Austin Undhjem like a grandfather. He is missed.

Irene and Neil and family, I just learned today of Manford's passing, sorry for your loss, I have been away from Bowbells for many years, but any time I came back and happened to run into you Irene and Manford (did not see one without the other very often) you always remember me. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time, how wonderful to have had 60 years of marriage and to beable to enjoy grandchildren and great grandchildren that is what life is all about. God bless each of you.
Jolene
