Memories for LaVerne Braaflat

From: Tesha Quigley

I would like to send my condolences to the family for their loss. It is unfortunate that Laverne did not want a service so his loved ones can mourn and remember him. This is not to say that they can't anyway! I am Randy Braaflat's daughter and I too lost my father, someone I loved with all my heart. He has been gone now for 13 years and has a grand daughter he will never know. I guarantee she will know of him. I guess my point is that when someone dies it does not mean they are gone. They live on in the hearts, memories and shared stories of the people who loved them. I take comfort in knowing that about my father. My daughter will know about her grandpa whether he's here or not! When someone dies it's a remembrance that life is so fragile, and we all at times take it for granted. We will miss the loved ones we lost but they will always be remembered. Also, the only comfort I can find in death is that there is no more suffering or pain, whether it be ph!
ysical or emotional for that person any longer. Again, I wanted to send a message of condolences and say that I am sorry for the loss. Hopefully our loved ones will live on thru us....and never be forgotten.
