Memories for Keith

From: Sam and Linda Thomas

We were sorry to see of your loss. I have not visited with Keith in a long time. I have memories of talking about the Scout Dogs. I was a scout dog handler in Germany at the time Keith was in Korea. I know he did a good job in the Army and was awarded the Bronze Star. I know he and York will be united now.

We are sorry to hear about Keith's passing. He was always smiling and such a pleasant and gentle man to be around. He will be missed by all his girls. Our condolences, Lisa, to you and your sisters and your mom.

Keith's military history inspired a search for dogs used in the service and am sending a link to a most interesting web site about those canine heroes and their dedicated trainers ( a breed of their own ):http://uswardogs.org., a good explanation of a man's character.

Dear Ermalee and Family: My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this time of loss. May God help you find peace and comfort. Keith was a dear friend of my brother, Bernie Iverson. I remember Bernie telling me that him and Keith taught each other how to dance. I never danced with Keith but Bernie was a very good dancer, Keith always had a big smile for everyone. Love, John and LaVonne Iverson Black, Spokane, WA

Dear Ermalee and Family: It saddens me to hear of your loss. It is hard to believe that Lori and I have been friends since we were 5 years old. I have fond memories of Keith's caring smile and gentle manner while putting up with giggling girls in the house. Please take comfort in knowing what a special place he holds in my heart. With Deepest Sympathy, Michelle Chrest

Sorry to hear about Keith ~he and many of his relatives were friends of mine when I lived and worked in Lignite from 1959 to late 1963. I have many fond memories of that time in my life, and Keith was included in those. I remember his love for his family, dog, and life. Fond memories and sympathy to his family.

I will always remember Keith with his smile and big heart. He was the standard for logic and advice on any matter that anyone brought to him. My time spent with him will be cherished forever in my memeory. I will always be grateful for all that he done for me over my life. He will be missed by so many people. But we are all better for the privelege to have known him. I am just grateful that I was able to see him and tell him how thankful I was for knowing him and how I felt about him. I know his suffering is over but the world is a sadder place now that he is gone...Kent
