Memories for Hilman

From: Dale Olson

I met Hilman when I started refering basketball in Granville in the early 70's. I always enjoyed our conversations! My wife was from Upham, so we lot's of experiences to talk about!
I'll always remember Hilman introducing me as a guest speaker at a spring banquet years ago. His sense of humor captured the crowd right away, and boy was I nervous. I never forgave him for that!
My sympathy for a kind, warm hearted family man who meant the world to Granville! He will be missed!

Sincerely,

A friend, Dale Olson

Dear Doug, Scott, and John,
I am sorry to hear about the lost of your Dad. I really didn't realize that you had also lost your Mother a few years ago. Your Dad was a good guy and I enjoyed his Social Studies class and his interaction with the students at Granville High. Take care.
