I remember baby-sitting some of the cute little Kleingartmer girls in Sherwood in the 50's... --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Gary Thuner I really enjoyed my visits with Herb. We discussed everything from religion to politics and the weather. We spent a lot of time going over the economy. He was a real joy to spend time with and I am so glad I got to know him. My condolences and may God be with you all at this difficult time. Gary Thuner --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Marlene & Raymond Hilman We were so sad to hear of your father's death so soon after Connie's death. Our thought & paryers are with you and your entire family. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Marie (Flesch) Carlson Requests: I worked in the grain commission office at Cargill in the 70's when Herb was the elevator manager there. (Our office was in the west office of the elevator.) I remember Herb as a man who did not swear or raise his voice. He cared about people and was a gentleman. I was saddened to hear of the loss of such a nice person. Peace be will all of you. Marie Carlson --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Collin and Wanda Dobrovolny So sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I have fond memories
of my dad and Herb taking us "hooding." It's amazing
we came out of this with no broken bones. Good memories of you
as neighbors. We are out of town but you are in our prayers.
