Memories for Harry Behrens

From: Doran & Connie Miller

Requests: I have known Harry most of my life. I remember him from
parocial school at Immanual
Lutheran north of Surrey in the early '40 s. He had a Model T Ford with out a top and all painted up. I was about 4 years younger so I was really impressed. Harry was a good guy and he will be missed. Doran

Dear JoAnne and family,
We are so sorry to hear about Harry. Cancer is very terrible thing.
I am the daughter of Albert and Marion. My brother's are Hank and George. I am the youngest.
I vaguely remember going to your place on the farm when I was quite young. I also remember my Dad telling me about Harry's inventions. I can't remember when he told me but I do remember it.
It is too bad that family drift apart over the years. I heard that Hank had seen Harry last year though. That was nice.
We now live in Helena, MT. Our Prayers and deepest Sympathy are with you and your family.
Please take care.
Al and Judy

From: George & Carol Behrens

George remembers a couple times he worked for Harry on the farm when he was young. Harry told him to wait in the truck, and then when he was done on combine to come and pick him up---George fell asleep so Harry had to walk all the way back and pounded on the truck to wake him. Another time he told him to watch this auger thing and of course George fell asleep again--so got his butt chewed out again. From then on Harry called him "Sleeping Beauty" Our thoughts and condolences are with the family.

Joanne, I knew you and Harry through Dr. Neto's office. I was his nurse. I want you to know that I enjoyed seeing Harry come in. He was always very nice and full of fun. I am so sorry for your loss. Cyndi Larson
