I miss you, Grandma. Just as I've missed you since you moved back to North Dakota; only now it is permanent until we meet again in heaven. I am so glad we were able to visit again two years ago. You were lovely and charming as always with that gleam in your eyes and that mischievous grin. You were the only grandparent I ever knew and I was your first granddaughter. I believe we felt that bond. I only have fond memories of you, Grandma....Christmas, divinity, Ovaltine, raked shag carpets, cold cream, beauty and grace.

I love you, Grandma....and I always will.

To my aunts in Velva, I share your grief, though losing a mother is so very hard. I thank you, my aunts, uncles and cousin, for taking such good care of Grandma. Much love to you, also.
