Please except my deepest sympathy for your loss. I always enjoyed talking to Gary while he was on dialysis. He was always polite and courteous. He did love talking about his horses. He always said I needed one of his horses to eat my grass because I hated mowing.
May he be at peace now that he is with the lord. He will be greatly missed.
Sicerely,
Sharon Hagelund (CNA) KDU

I'm so sorry to hear of Gary's passing. My heart goes out to his family. I'm Gary's cousin, Debbie, Raymond Johnson's daughter. Its been years since I seen Gary but I remember the family vacation we all took to Canada in a remote area called Flin Flon. I've been told that we went there for the fishing but what I remember is a great time spent with my cousins. It was a great vacation. I know this is a sad time for all of you but the many memories of Gary will help you get through this. Once again, my heart goes out to you. Debbie

I had the privilege of growing up next door to Gary. He was always a true friend to everyone. I regret that I didn t get a chance to see him one more time. I m sure that we would have talked about the old days including the time (I think it was 1957) several of us made a fire engine out of an old shopping cart, a 5-gallon can, and an old hose. I ll miss Pete very much, and I send my sincere sympathy to his family.

Gary and I where on dialysis at the same time for awhile. I always enjoyed visiting with Gary during the treatments and on the phone at other times. I'll miss our phone conversations alot. I just wanted to extend my sympathy and prays to all of his family and to say he will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Stevens'Family. Pete was such a wonderful man and my best memories were riding and roping out at the Rodeo Grounds. I think we did a lot more talking than roping but always had a great time.

What I will remember most about Pete is how he always asked how things were going out at the Farm. He was a man that would take real intrest in how you and your family were doing. He will be missed deeply.

We were saddened to hear of Gary's death. We were classmates of Gary's in school and also in Sunday School and Bible School. We just want you to know our thoughts are with your family at this sad time.

I'm going to miss Gary and the talks we had about Earl the bird. The stories he told me about him reminded me of the African Gray at a home where my sister did home health for a little boy. We had a lot of fun comparing notes about horses, too. He and Gladys met me in the parking lot of a gas station once so I could show off my palomino weanling. He teased me after that that he was "pretty sure" that I should give him a "really good deal" on my colt and he'd give him a "really good home". It's pretty quiet in dialysis without him, but I'm glad for him that he's in a "really good Home". I'm sorry for your loss. Shelly-KDU
