To the family of Frances Eldevik

I am sorry to hear about the loss of your dear mother, grandmother, mother - in - law, aunt, and close friend.

Frances will be missed by you, but let us hope and pray that by her faithfulness to God and good example to those around her that she is united to Him in heaven.

May the Lord continue to shower each of you with many graces and blessings in these trying times, in the days ahead, and all the days of your lives.

And the best thing that you can do now for Frances is to pray for her soul and her intercession.

Know, that you are in my prayers. I wish I was able to come back for the funeral but with my studies and the distance I am not able to be with you physically, but I am with you in prayer spiritually.

My Deepest Sympathy,

Neil Pfeifer - brother of Hilda and brother in law of Greg.
I am studying for the priesthood at Mt. ST. Mary's Seminary in Maryland.

From: Julie King

I would like to tell you the story of when I first met Frances. She had just moved here to the Kenmare hospital and I was still working in the laundry room. I always took the clothing protectors up for the ladies to fold before the 10 o'clock coffee time. I would stay and fold with them and enjoy a morning visit. Frances was just moved in and I didn't know her at all. I did know she was Norma's mother and Lori's grandmother but I didn't know she had moved here from Edgewood Vista. We were folding clothing protectors and visting and having a grand old time. At the end of our visit Frances turned to me and said to me "tell your brother I said hello". Well let me tell you I was taken quite aback. I looked at her and asked her "my brother?, are you sure you mean my brother?" she replied to me in her quiet way "well yes his name is Jack isn't it? and he works at Edgewood doesn't he?" Well that really got the hair to stand up on the back of my neck. How in the world did she know!
that. So I told her well yes he was and yes he did but how did she know that? She told me she just moved from there that is how. Well I had to ask her did he tell her he had a sister named Julie King that worked in the laundry department in the Kenmare hosptial? "oh no" she replied. "Well then how in the world could you have ever known I of all the people working here am his sister?" I just could not for the life of me figure out how she could have picked me out of all the other staff I mean we don't look that much alike. "Well Frances told me you have the same loud, jolly voice he does, and you use your hands when you talk just like he does." I smile every time I remember that conversation. I am privilaged to have helped to take care of your mother. I am blessed to have been a part of her life. I am honored to have become a part of your family's life. Please know that I will be including her in my prayers.
