Memories for Elaine

From: Corina Carroll (Heil)

For the few short years I worked with Elaine at Broadway Printing, she was there for me when I was having trials in life. She never judged. She only gave encouragement and hope. She never asked for anything in return. She touched my life only in positive ways and I will never forget her.

I was very sorry to hear of Elaine's passing. I met her in 1987, where I worked at Broadway Printing until 1991. I really enjoyed her friendship while I was there. I remember how important her family was to her. As I type this, I am sitting with an afghan over my legs, that she crocheted for me 20 years ago. From now on, every time I put it on, I will think of it as a hug from Elaine in heaven.

My sympathies to you all.

I got to know Elaine when Laurel and my husband Don were doing dialysis. We spent lots of time waiting, and I enjoyed getting to know her. She was a truly nice person and spoke of her family so lovingly! I liked her sense of humor and am glad that I had the opportunity to spend some time with her. My heartfelt sympathy goes to you, her family, at this very difficult time.

I'm so sorry to hear of Elaine's death. (I was in the class behind Elaine at Makoti and had the honor of visiting with her again at one of Makoti's reunions.) Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.
Sincerely,
Kathi and Hank Burley
