Memories for Dora

From: James Cron

I was distressed to hear of the passage of Dora. I last saw her in the fall and her memory of me and my antics as a boy was as sharp as ever. I owe a great debt of gratitude to Dora as she fueled my thirst of reading. Many a Saturday I would spend at the library reading books, talking to her about books, and she would order books on loan for me to read. As time passed my visits were less frequent but when she saw me she would offer a gentle prod and I would visit her again. Now my little boys share my lap almost every evening to read a book and fuel their thirst for reading and knowledge. That is her legacy to me and my family. May God bless you Dora. I will miss you.
