Deepest sympathy for your loss. I am inquiring if Diane is related. I am cousins with the deceased Rudy Geyer who lived in Minot. He was the son of Bill and Katy Geyer who were my mother's brother and sister-in-law. I realize this may not be the time to study family trees but my large family of brothers and sisters here in Beach, N.D. would like to get reacquainted with our Geyer family. My email is srdietz@midstate.net and address is Sharon Dietz, 351 S. Central Ave. Beach, ND 58621. 1-701-872-4648. Again, so sorry for your loss of daughter and sister. Sincerely, Sharon Dietz

I am so sorry to hear about Diane's death. Diane was a very influential friend and neighbor during my childhood days. We played "catch" with anything we could get our hands on for many, many years in the circle that we lived in. I remember always trying my best to throw the ball further than she could, but I was never able to succeed. I will not forget my friend and neighbor. My sympathy and prayers are with you all. I am Diane's cousin and we were fortunate enough to have Diane live with us for a brief time, while we lived in Maryland.

She was truly a joy to be around. Always laughing, joking and smiling. I will never forget those dimples!! She also was able to tell me more about my Norwegian heritage on my father's side and introduce me to the Norwegian Evergreen Tree. When I see one now, I will always think of her.

We send our love and prayers to the family - from Cary, NC.

Much Love,

Sheila, Neil and Heather

Dear family, Diane will be missed greatly by us! She was a quiet soul! It seemed that she was very shy. Ed and i both got to know her by sitting with her and listening. She did not tell us about her navy years and all her awards. We are proud to fly our flag in her honor!God needed a gentle soul with him in heaven! Diane is truly a American hero!God Bless America!

Please accept my condolences at this time of your loss. I remember being the baby-sitter for her when you lived just a couple of doors down from my parents on 1st Street NW. Just remember all of the fun times experienced throughout her life.
