I just want to say how sorry I am for your loss. Dan was a wonderful man. I got to know him the past few years of cleaning his teeth at our dentist office. He was always so polite and nice to talk to, and always put up with me cleaning his teeth :) He truly was a wonderful man and it was a privilige to know him. Again , I cant say how sorry I am for your loss. I pray the Lord will give you strength and comfort during this time. God bless you.

Our prayers and thoughts are with you at this time. Dan was a great guy. The boys really thought alot of Dan. Paul and Brian still take about the time that they got to go in the pits with Dan and Sharron. That was a highlight for those two. I think they can thank Dan for their racing interest. If we can help with anything please don't be afraid to ask.

Nathan:

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your father. The loss of a parent is certainly very hard to go through -- they were always our rock and strength as we grew older; the people who would always support us no matter what.

May memories find your whole family comfort during this most difficult time.

Dear Sharon, Nate and Kayla,

We were very saddened to hear the news about Dan.

One of my fondest memories of Dan was your boat that he would zip across Rice Lake! I also admired his fun smile with those nice, bright white teeth!

Please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Sharon,
With your heart hurting and broken, our thoughts & prayers are with you. We are very sorry for this untimely passing of Dan. Those special souls who love life and live it to the fullest, do seemingly make the most of their time with us. They fill our hearts with their uplifting spirit and create memories we cherish forever. The journey of a life time is not the destination, but the journey itself. Dan made the most of his journey and included you to share his journey with him. Dan will remain always with you, in your heart and soul.
Our sincerest condolances.
Steve & Gail Otnes, Minot

We were so sorry to hear about Danny. We will miss him very much. He was always fun to be around and was so willing to help us out when we were racing. If you broke or had a problem Danny would help any way he could with parts from his well stocked trailer or just pitch in. Dannny was liked by everyone that met him. As we travel around the country racing and people would see we were from North Dakota, it would not be unusual to be asked if we knew Danny. People would say they had met him at a previous race and said he was such a nice guy!!!
Sharon, You Danny and your family are in our thought and prayers.

Sharon, Nate, and Kayla,
I'm glad that you included me in your family gathering at the house. I so much appreciate your kindness! I was at the Y with my daughter Ariah today for her swimming lessons. I just started to think about Dan and it hurts so much, even now! It's funny how people influence us. We argued so much, yet I knew he was my friend. I would run into guys that worked for some of the other S&G companies in the area, they may have been bigger, never better! I was always proud that I worked for him! He was a man of character, that taught me to fight for the right things. He had a confidence in me that I lacked in myself. After all of the arguing and the dust cleared, he helped me become a better me! I learned to fight for things that are worth fighting for! I am glad I was able to have him in my life! I was glad that I was able to be to visit with you Kayla! I can remember once working with Dan on something in front of the shop and he was watering the trees while we worked. Kayla, you kep!
t moving the water hose, after he would have it where he wanted it! We would look over and see you and I would look at him and he would just get that big grin on his face and go move it back! You were always so busy! Nate, you would come in the shop and shoot baskets, he would always have a look of pride on his face! He knew he had two of the best kids without a doubt! I have been blessed with a son and daughter also! If they turn out like each of you I could not be more blessed! Sharon what can I say? I remember we were in that black pickup going someplace and we were talking about some gal marrying someone and how we couldn't see what she saw in the guy! I said,"Well, you kind of married above yourself!" He looked at me with that big grin, laughed and said,"I know I did!" There was no one like you to him! I'm glad I was able to be with you, it helps to hold each other as we fall apart! I pray for your hurts to heal, and your memories to remain fresh! I will see you again D!
an, love you! Until then think of something to argue about!
