Dear Aunt Donna, Davis, Pat, Barb and families,

My love and prayers are with you! I hope that the volcano and flooding won't prevent your being together for Uncle Dale's funeral.

I have wonderful memories of Uncle Dale, especially my last two visits as we sat around the dining room table listening to Uncle Dale and Aunt Marlys swap stories. Lots of laughter while we ate Aunt Donna's cookies.

Some of the stories, I have on video so when I am back in the states next summer will get copies to you.

Our thoughts are with the family. I remember dale growing up with his interest in model airplanes with has lead to my fancination with the hobby today. When he left the army he used all his pay to Buy a new Indian Motorcycle which he came though Minneapolis to visit on his way home. I was about 4-5 years old and got my first ride.
