Memories for Dale From: Amy & Custis Green Amy and Nathan - --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Jodi Johnson Isaak Debbie and Family, --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Arlene Deb and family, my heart goes out to all of you. Dale was such a kind gentle mentor to me; he will be missed by all of us at Emerald court. I would like to relay a story about Dale; he always gave me such a bad time about being from the "Arbor Day State'; said ' you have two trees in the whole darn state and you have to have a holiday to celebrate them.' My staff at Emerald court are taking up a collection and will plant a tree in memory of Dale. One of my staff members said..."Dale will be looking down from above and say 'darn you Arlene, now there's three". He will be missed. Arlene and all the staff at Emerald Court --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Patricia Dzur Dale will always be Kathy's little brother to me. It seems he grew to be very important to a large family and community that will miss him. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Chad Bjornson I am so sorry to hear of Dale's passing. I have so many memories of Dale at our basketball games from the time we were kids through high school. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. ~ Chad B. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Mary & Nicole Severson I am sorry to hear about Dale. I purchased the townhome on
the east by the alley from him 2 years ago. I was so happy to
find a quality place when I was downsizing. He was a very kind
and caring builder putting his whole heart into his projects.
He knew my husband Tom Severson. They had went to school together.
He had a few stories to tell me. It was nice he remember him
because he also passed away in 1999. My daughter Nicole went
to school with Katie. It is a hard time. Noone can make it better
for you. Time does ease the loss. Tell his stories and remember
how he loved and adored all of you. He will be giving you the
strength you will need to live without him. Watch for the signs
if you are open to them they may appear when you are least expecting
them. It might be something funny or sad but you will know it
is Dale. My husband was a hunter and he passed away in Jan, in
the spring I was looking for his grave because it wasn't marked
yet, and standing on his grave ! --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Richard & Virginia Lawson We are sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Joy McKay @ First National Bank in Scottsbluff, NE My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time. I know Dale will be missed tremendously. I know Dale from when he was here in Scottsbluff developing and building Emerald Court, and I enjoyed every time he visited. Even when Emerald Court was up and running, he always stopped by to say hello. I appreciated his wisdom, and enjoyed his humor. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Warren Anderson Our thoughts and prayers are with you. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Kim Weydahl Hi Deb and family, --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Pauline Wahl --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Cindy Peterson Paul, --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: John & Vanessa Nutt We were so saddened to hear of Dales passing, just wanted
to let you know you are all in our thoughts and prayers. I'm
going to miss the smell of his cigars and that pot of coffee
that was always on too long at the Renaissance. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Teensa Larson The last time I saw Dale was probably 35 years ago but that
red hair and great smile are still so perfectly etched in my
mind's eye. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Mike Stenvold Deb - our hearts and prayers are out to you and the family at this time. May you all be blessed with the memories of happy times and special moments. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Andy & Nicole Kidd Erica - --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Kirby and Kelby Krefing Dale was a great man, who put up with a lot of extra kids
at his house while Nick was growing up. Kelby, Chris, Brock,
Nick, and I would play hoops in the driveway for hours, with
Dale watching the competitiveness. We were sure to watch our
language when Dale was watching for we knew we had a steak dinner
waiting after the games. Thank you for the cooking, watching,
and caring, Dale. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Bob & Linda Stehberger Dale left a legacy of a caring and loving family. I remember the Mellum's thru our connection with Little Flower Parish. I had your children in Sunday School classes. Dale helped me out with some financial planning after my father passed and my son Andy got ill. Dale was a good listener and a good friend to all. This World is a better place because of Dale Bless you all. Bob & Linda Alex, MN --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Kelby Krefting I remember Dale for his generosity. I can't imagine how many
meals or hours my brother an I spent at the Mellum's. Our prayers
