through Minot State University s Dual Credit program. He was
enrolled in more university courses than any other high school
student I worked with this year as MSU s Dual Credit coordinator.
Catlin was a model student, and Karen Groninger spoke so highly
of him! She and I visited on several occasions about Catlin s
future plans and how his MSU courses were helping him surge ahead
of his peers. Karen, his instructors at DLBHS, and I were so
very proud of him for his accomplishments and for making the
most of his opportunities. I can say with all honestly that even
though I visited with Catlin at DLBHS just a couple of times,
he made a lasting impression on me not all students do and I
am so very lucky to have shared a small corner of his life. My
