Memories for Catherine

From: Rick & Sue McGee

Our sympathy and prayers are with you all at this time.

Coke was a delightful woman to know and one of my favorite people to see at Norwest Bank. The days of George Johnson, Ralph Schreiner, Erv Engel and more were truly the golden days of banking. Your mother made it so, as it was truly a pleasure to assist her banking needs.

She was one of the most classy ladies I have ever known. She lived a full and wonderful life and touched so many of us.

May God bless her and her family.

Catherine will be truly missed. I wish I could have been there to say goodbye but understand that God takes us when He needs us. I will miss the countless chats while stopping in her room at Somerset. What a wonderful person. Words cant express how blessed I am to have had the opportunity to meet such an inspirational woman. *We miss you Catherine:)* My thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless.

My deepest sympathies to Catherines family.Im the housekeeper at Somerset Court and got to know Catherine very well. Every Monday I would look forward to visiting with her while I cleaned her room. She always worried about me if I was working to hard. I loved Catherine for her thoughtfulness and her friendship. I will miss her dearly and so will all of us at Somerset Court.

So long, dear friend, for a little while. Thank you for your daughter and our grand daughter, and your entire wonderful family.

From a relatively small family with Minot roots, the passing of any members of the greatest generation is a significant loss. Cokey was the "big sister" my mother never had, growing up next door, and eventually taking her under her wings while both attended school in Chicago, where she follwed her lead to work in the field of social service. She was the maid of honor at my parent's wedding, and a few years later, I was blessed when she was selected to be my godmother. It was my pleasure to always know she was there for spiritual guidance, if needed, and in her prayers always. Our family will have to work hard to replace such a wonderful member. Say "hi" to the rest of the greatest generation who preceded you in heaven. Love, Rob

My deepest sympathies to all of you. Coke was a dear friend to me and an "extra" grandma to Michael. Memories of the past 30+ years of friendship have flooded my mind and put a smile in my heart. She was a great lady. My thoughts and prayers. Patsy

Family of Coke,

My sympathy to the family of a wonderful lady! She had a great influence on my mother and family as a youth growing up in Minot in the Lincoln school neighborhood. I remember her sincere love of kids and the many opportunities she provided us to mingle as kids. Very much a leader in our community and a cornerstone for future generations! Thank God for our friendships and for special people like Catherine Jones! She will always be remembered!

Love,

Dale and Teresa Olson

Patrick et al,

Although personality profiles continue to affirm that I am a deeply private person, please know that I loved and will miss your mother just as I miss her constant Coronado companion, my Aunt Marge.

Please accept my condolences and know that I look forward to any opportunity for our families to share reminiscences of some of the joy that those two feisty rascals brought into our lives.

Our world is a better place because of your mother.

Sincerely,

Gerry Greer Beimler

Coke (she was such a close member of our family that I have just now learned her full name) has always been a strong and impressive personality for my entire life. A thrill every time I was fortunate enough to be with and listen to her wit and perspectives. My parents; Gayle F. and Robert Stafford are out of state and I will be attending as a representative of our family. Every member of our family has enjoyed each moment that Coke has been added a bright light in our lives. My sister Brigitte has been fortunate and pleased to have spent time staying with Coke in Coronado. She is a true pillar of a community in a world that has a declining number each year. For all in my family, I can justly state that Coke will never be forgotten. Enjoy heaven. Sincerely, Blaine DuPuis
