I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Buzz was a very special person, he always had a smile for everyone. I knew him for so many years since we were kids and he lived in Wolseth and probably before that. I'll always remember him roping at Alan Harstad's, the HVH Arena in Ruthville, and at Dad's on Rip. It sure was a lot of fun. He will be truely missed by everyone who knew him, but he can still live in our hearts with all the precious memories he gave us all. I won't be able to make it to the funeral because of work, but remember my sincere sympathy and thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Trudy and family ...

We were SO sorry to hear about the loss of Uncle Buzz. A true tragedy and great loss. He was an amazing man and it breaks my heart that we didn't get the chance to see him more often.

Every time I think of him, I can't help but smile. He truly did have a way of making everyone feel good ... jolly and a jokester are good words to describe him!

He will surely be missed and our hearts and prayers are with you all as you grieve.

From: Connie Sambor

You all are certainly in my thughts and prayers. I just learned of the accident. One never knows when the last time will be that we will see a person. I had a nice visit with him at the Douglas Centennial. I went to H.S. in Max, but Douglas was my second "home base" so attended many basket ball games there. He was one of the "cutest" guys on the team. :) After many years of no contact it was fun to see him at the Centennial. I wish there were adequate words of comfort at this time.
Sincerely,
Connie Sambor

I was shocked to here about Buzz. It was through the usual grape vine, from an elevator (retired) manager (Steve Garrison, formerly of New Salem elevator. I was looking at the online regrets, and all were in common on their comments---good person, smilling, easy to talk to, caring individual. He was all of those things, and I enjoyed dealing with him at the Minot elevator, all those years. We would usually see him always at the truck stop when we came home in the summers, at Minot. He will be greatly missed, and me and Linda send our condolences. I'am sure he will have good company where he is going. I will always remeber him---Like he would say "In The Real World" Love & Prayers Bruce & Linda Sullivan

From: RICK CHRISTIANSON

Chuck Lona Trudy Dude Vegas Dallas Austin: I am so very sorry to hear about Buzz and his accident. When cousin Wade called and told me that evening of his death, I just could'nt and have'nt stopped thinking WHY? I just keep thinking of all the trucks Buzz stood behind, why this one. Buzz taught me at the ripe age of 14 in 1967 while hauling oats to Wolseth, always set that brake. DID HE FORGET.
Buzz was such a fantastic man, neighbor, friend, and mentor. I have known Buzz since 1967, he was always such a honest no BS guy. He chewed my butt more than once "not to mention saving it a few times also" thanks Buzz. I always respected and cherished his advice and compassion. I never ever heard him say anything bad about anyone. The Glenburn area should be very proud to say that: MAN LIVED WITH US FOR 42 WONDERFUL YEARS. The mentoring he has done for myself and countless others will never be totally known. Trudy your family should be totally honored to say Buzz was my husband-dad-grandpa. HE WAS A GREAT GUY. I'll miss your smile Buzz. Trips back to N.D. just won't be the same without that genuine personality to run into.

Your friend Rick Christianson and Maggie
