Sorry to hear of your mom's death. I always enjoyed visiting with her whenever we saw each other. I remember the years of teaching together at Edison and when I would sub at Bell School. And, Mary Jo - you would babysit for us many times. You will all have many memories to talk about and that is really the best thing to do. Mary Wittich

Bea, as the name I called her, was a very fine lady. I like to give her a bad time in church, and discuss football or what ever sport was going on at the time.
We use to have a good time laughing and joking all in church of course.
I am sorry I did not get up to visit her, but unfortunatley I found out about her being in the nursing home.
I will miss not seeing her in church, and seeing her smile.
Just a friend.
Grace

Bea will be missed. I always enjoyed visiting with your Mom whenever I came back home. Me being a teacher and her a retired teacher gave us something in common right off the bat. She always invited me over to have coffee and sweets whenever I came home, the last time was last March when Mom passed. She always made me laugh. When her and Levi would get going, well, let's just say it was hilarious! She will live on in our hearts for sure!

Sorry to hear of Bea's passing. I especially want to express my sympathy to my cousins Mary Jo, Roger, & Janel, and to their families. My memories of Bea were from the many Sortland Family picnics in Valley City. She was a stalwart, pitching in and always enjoying the company of all.

We are sorry to hear about Bea's passing. She taught all of our five children at Bell School. I worked with Bea from about 1973 until she retired. I remember the kids at Bell were a little apprehensive about going into her class! Once the year was over, most of them said she was their favorite teacher. What a great accomplishment!! I know she will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. Sincerely, John and Joanne Thomas

I'm sorry for your loss, and just learned of it today. My grandmother used to live across the street from Bea, and we always used to go visit her as kids. I also visited her a couple times in Minot from Grand Forks where I go to school. She will be missed, and my thoughts and prayers are with you.

TO Janel and Family:
I am sorry to hear of your loss. My sympathies are with you. I remember your mom, Janel, from grade school at Edison. Your mom was my teacher for 1st grade and again in either 2nd or 3rd grade. Again, my deepest sympathies.
Myrna
