Memories for Agnes From: Jackie Nelson (Hermanson) I have fond memories of Agnes, of years ago. I would talk
with her when I visited my friend judy johnson. Sorry I didn't
get a chance to say hello to all the Grabow kids at Lillian's
funeral, had to rush back to bismarck. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Joann (Bradwisch) Stewart Please accept Ron's and my heartfelt sympathy. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Janis Emswiler Sams Houdek Thinking of you as you have the memorial service for my dear "Aunt Aggie". So many of us have so many happy memories with her. From early childhood, to adult years, I always knew she loved me and cared what happened to me. She was just that type of a person. I am so thrilled to know she is now in heaven with many more of our loved ones, and hers, who went on before her. What a joy for us to have this promise. Love you all, Janis --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Sherryl Whitted Surrey Teacher What a beautiful lady. She lived a long life. I so enjoyed working with Aggie in Surrey. Your family is so proud of her. She left a legacy for all of you. She raised a large family, now her grandchildren and great grandchildren can carry on her values. Beautiful lady, from Sherryl Whitted. former teacher in Surrey --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Arlene and Butch Guthrie Dear Mom, --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Shelli, Adam, & Casey Guthrie To my brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins,,,Shelli, Adam, and I send our deepest sympathy to all of you. We will be with all of you in spirit as our Grandma's life is celebrated on Monday, January 28th. We will miss her, but she passed so many traditions to us that she will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace, Grandma. We will all see you again someday. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Stacy Guthrie Grandma "Hoppin" was THE best hugger a kid could
ever ask for. I too, cried each and every time I had to tell
her, or Grandpa goodbye. In this last week, I've tried so many
times to say goodbye, but I just can't, so I tell her that I
love her. Each day and night when I sit back and think of her,
the first thing that comes to ind, is her standing in her kitchen
in Surrey, with her hands on her hips, and saying,"My stars..."
I've missed hearing that for a long time, so when I want to hear
it, I just close my eyes, and think of her. I too remember the
coca things, but I never really liked them, so Grandpa would
share his eggs with me whenever Grandma would go around the corner
to a different room. But I also remember watching Wonderful World
of Disney on Sunday night, and getting a big glass of chocolate
malt, she made the best. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: David and Cyndi Grabow You could always find Grandma in the kitchen cooking Sunday
dinner's for our families. I remember Grandma Hoppman playing
the piano every Sunday Morning at church while Mom (Lillian Grabow)
sang. Grandma will be missed deeply by all. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
From: Bobbi, Bill, Lane and Alyson Guthrie I have so many memories of going over to grandma and grandpa's
house in Surrey every time we could go. From the times we just
sat out on the porch and you could smell all the flowers grandma
had growing. And riding the trikes around the square sidewalk
in the front of the house. Then everytime I hear the sound of
the news show Sixty Minutes, I can remember grandpa sitting in
his chair watching the news. Every memory I have of them is a
happy one. One day we will all be together again. I know they
are both looking down on us now. Mey you rest in peace Grandma,
we'll see you again some day. We all love you. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Viola J. Ojala I will always remember mom's cinnamon rolls. Whenever I and Lyle, or Arlen and the boys would come home for a visit, she'd have made fresh cinnamon rolls for us. Shane remembers the hugs she gave, as she said she'd like to "squeeze the stuffins out of them." I have passed on the "cinnamon roll" tradition on to my family, so each time they come home for a visit, they will smell fresh cinnamon rolls on the counter. I am confident that she is now with our Lord and Savior and they are sharing a hug, a cup of coffee and a fresh cinnamon roll together. I got to see her 2 days before she died and we shared some stories, some songs and a few chuckles even. She always remembered the names "mom and pop" and "Ruth". We will meet again and I await her hug at the door. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Bonnie Hubbard With fond memories of Aunt Aggie, the children of Dick and Mildred Hubbard extend our deepest sympathy to Elaine, Arlene, Darlene, Richie and Viola and their families. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
