John Zieske 1950- 2006 John Allen Zieske was born on January 24, 1950, the son of Albert and Betty (Welsch) Zieske in Kenmare, ND. He was raised and educated in Kenmare and graduated from Kenmare High School in 1968. He then attended the Wahpeton State School of Science and graduated with a degree in Architectural Drafting in 1970. He attained his electrical license and owned and operated Zieske Electric for some time. John married Connie Michel on April 8, 1972, in Donnybrook, ND. They made their home in Minot where he had worked as a foreman for Great Plains Supply Co. for over 20 years, and later United Building Centers (UBC). He was currently employed at Minot Lumber and Hardware. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and anything that involved the outdoors. He was a 'jack of all trades.' He especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Surviving family includes: John was preceded in death by his father, Albert; brother, Michael; and father-in-law, Glenn Michel. Funeral: Saturday, June 17, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. at
