Bonnie R. Zastrow 1939 - 2003

Bonnie R. Zastrow, 64, 2001 5th Ave SW, Minot, died Monday in a Minot hospital.

Bonnie was born on May 19, 1939, in Hannaford, ND, the daughter of Dan and Emily (Nevland) Larson. She was raised and educated in Hannaford and graduated from Hannaford High School. On September 3, 1960, she married M.F. Zastrow at Hannaford. They had two children, Bradley and Shelly. In 1965 they moved to Minot where Bonnie provided hot lunch services at Perkett Elementary School from 1978 until retiring in 1999.

She was a member of St. Marks Lutheran Church, Minot and the NARVE (National Association of Railroad Veteran Employees). Bonnie enjoyed fishing with her husband. She loved her family and especially loved her visits with her children and grandchildren. She will be missed.

Survivors: husband, Minot; son, Bradley and his wife Sandra, Rockwall, TX; daughter, Shelly Karcheski and her husband, Bruce, West Haven, UT; grandchildren, Blake and Lauren Zastrow; brother, Robert Larson, Moorhead, MN; sister, Donna Hankins, Hannaford, ND and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral: Friday, 2:00 p.m. at St. Marks Lutheran Church, Minot.

Visitation: Thursday from noon until 7:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
