Marcy Zaback • 1941 - 2007 Marcella Lenertz was born on May 21, 1941, in Karlsruhe, the daughter of Philip and Catherine (Kraft) Lenertz. She was reared and educated in Karlsruhe, moving to Minot in 1959, where she started a 48 year career as a Certified Nursing Assistant first for St. Joseph's Hospital and then Trinity Medical Center until becoming ill earlier this year. On June 27, 1970 in Minot, she married David Zaback and they made their home in Minot where she loved and raised Shane and Melissa, their two children. Marcy enjoyed family and friends and loved caring for people. She especially loved her grandkids. She was very fun loving. Marcy was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Minot. Marcy is survived by her husband of 37 years, David, Minot; son, Shane (Dana) Zaback, Minot; daughter, Melissa (Troy) Seibel, Bismarck; grandchildren, Keaton, Courtney, Madelyn and Ella Zaback and Olivia Seibel; brothers, Pat (Stella) Lenertz, Minot, Ernie (Marvel) Lenertz, Apple Valley, MN, Robert (Carol) Lenertz, Bismarck, ND, Myron (Brenda) Lenertz, Bismarck; sisters, Carmy (Eugene) Streeper, Minot, Clarice (Darrell) Michels, Surrey and Tamara (Mitch) Leupp, Stanley. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Mass of Christian Burial: Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Minot on Thursday, December 20, 2007 at 10 a.m. Prayer Service: Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Minot. Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot Visitation: Wednesday, noon until 5 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot and starting at 6 p.m. at the church. Memorials are preferred to the Minot Catholic Schools, Minot.
