Mary Ann Wright 1925- 2009 Mary Ann was born on January 24, 1925 to the late Kassen “Sam” and Bella (Lynch) Rameden of rural Bowbells, ND. After completing her education, she worked at several cafes in Burke County. At the end of WWII she married the late Lee A. Wright and moved to Minot, where she continued to cook and serve at area cafes for a number of years. Mary Ann is fondly remembered as an energetic, outgoing person, who always warmly welcomed family, friends and strangers to her home with a table full of food, prepared in a matter of minutes. Besides cooking and spending time with family and friends, Mary Ann enjoyed working in her yard, taking care of her beloved home and playing cards. Those who shared in her life, sons, Bruce (Linda) Wright, Maxbass, ND, Bernard (Debby) Wright, Stanley, ND, and Larry (Jean) Wright, Bellefontaine, OH; grandchildren, Wendy Maurer, and Nicole, Timothy, William, Daniel and Christopher Wright; five great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; long time neighbor, Cliff Hanson; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Lee; her parents, Kassen and Bella; brothers, Peter, Joseph, Kassen, Jr., and Raymond Rameden, and sister, Alice Peterson. Funeral: Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot. Visitation: Thursday, January 7, 2010, from 9:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home. Mary Ann’s grandsons Burial Following the funeral everyone is invited to join the family for lunch and fellowship at the Royal Fork, 1420 24th Ave. SW, Minot, located directly west of Dakota Square Mall, for lunch and fellowship.
