Kristopher Wood 1988 - 2011 Kristopher David Wood was born on December 1, 1988, a son of David Wood and Gracie Baker at the Grand Forks Air Force Base, ND. He was raised and educated in Anamosa, IA, graduating from high school in 2006. Following his graduation, Kris worked various jobs including Applebee’s and for Minot Builders, before starting a career with Nabors Drilling Company, of Williston, ND in September. Kris enjoyed riding his R-6 motorcycle, hanging out with friends listening to music and playing video games. He was a very proud and devoted father to his young daughter Aaliyah Jane. Kris was always a very outgoing person who would assist others in need. Most recently helping complete strangers move their belongings from their homes in his pickup. He is survived by: Mother: Gracie (Golden Melland) Moore, Minot; father: David Wood, Anamosa, IA; daughter Aaliyah Jane Wood, Minot; siblings: Tabitha (Matt) Wood, Anamosa, IA, Amber Wood, Anamosa, IA, Nikki (Sean) Mick, Fayetteville, NC, (Nikki is currently serving in Iraq with the United States Air Force), Heather (Alexandria) Lamberth, Great Falls, MT; Kyle Wood, Marquette, MI, Kirsten (Aaron) Gilbert, Marquette, MI, Wesley Pruett, Greeley, CO; mother of his child Sierra Haman; maternal grandmother: Edyth Baker; paternal grandmother: Ruth Wood; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive. Kristopher was preceded in death by several family members including his grandpa Wood and grandpa Baker. Visitation: Wednesday, July 6, 2011, from 2 pm until 7 pm at Thompson Larson Funeral Home, Minot Funeral Service: Thursday, July 7, 2011, at 11 am at Southside Church of the Nazarene, located at 2220 24th Ave SE, Minot Burial: A private committal service will take place at a later date Officiant: Rev.
