Elva Woodbeck 1917 - 2003

Elva Woodbeck, 85, Kenmare, formerly of Bowbells, died Saturday, April 5, 2003, in the Kenmare hospital.

Elva was born September 5, 1917, northwest of Larson, ND, the daughter of Anton and Elsie (Gunderson) Boen. She attended school in Horsham, Saskatchewan, Canada, and then country school near Larson, and graduated from the eighth grade. On December 23, 1936, she married Walter Woodbeck. They lived in Noonan until 1945. Elva moved into Bowbells in 1985, and then in 2000 she moved into the Kenmare rest home, and then the Kenmare Hospital, where she lived until her death.
