GeNell Williams • 1947 - 2002 GeNell Williams, 55, 1912 Third St. NW, Minot, ND, died November 11, 2002, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. GeNell was born on September 11, 1947, in Minot, ND, the daughter of Kenneth and Ilean (Schouten) Logan. She was reared and educated in Minot and graduated from Minot High School in 1965. She married Richard Devine on September 19, 1965 in McLean, Virginia. They lived in Virginia where she worked in an insurance office. They later divorced. She moved back to Minot in the late 1960's, where she worked at Sullivan's Floral, the Parker Hotel, Job Service of North Dakota and Trinity Hospital. On March 27, 1981, she married Randy Williams in Mohall, ND. They lived in Minot before moving to California for three years. They moved back to Minot where she worked for St. Joseph's Hospital and North Hill Kmart. When Kmart closed, she went to work for Choice Hotels International Inc. as a reservation coordinator and has worked there until her death. Survivors: husband, Randy Williams, Minot; sons, David Devine and his wife, Consuelo, El Paso, Texas; John Williams and Kelly Williams both of Minot; one granddaughter, Destiny Devine, El Paso, Texas, mother, Ilean Logan, Minot; brothers, Robert Logan, Helena, Montana and Ronald Logan and his wife, Deborah, Bismarck, ND. She was preceded in death by her son, Devin Devine, father, Kenneth Logan and a brother, Roger Logan. Funeral: Saturday, November 16, 2002, at 2 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Minot, ND Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot, ND Visitation: Friday from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND.
