Henry L. Willert 1929 - 2003 Henry L. Willert, 74, 1325 27th St. SE, Lot 103, Minot, died Sunday, September 7, 2003, in a Minot hospital. Henry was born March 9, 1929, in Minot, ND, the son of Henry F. and Ethel M. (Goodall) Willert. He was reared in Surrey Township, Ward County and attended Surrey School. The early part of his life he worked on the family farm in Surrey Township. Later he went into mechanics work and worked at Farmers Union and later worked his way up to transmission technician for Smitty's Repair until his retirement approximately ten years ago. He then went to work for the Minot Parking Authority part-time for several years. Henry never married. His hobbies included four wheelers and snowmobiles. Henry was a charter member of the two cycle John Deere Club. He was also an avid supporter of this club. Those Who Shared In Life: Brothers, Robert S. Willert and his wife, Irene, Minot, Kenneth Willert and his wife, Lola, Williston; sister, Ethel Turner, Sawyer; numerous nieces and nephews survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Willert and Ethel (Goodall) Willert ; sisters, Bernice Turner-Beston, Lillian Turner, Lenora Nickelson and Glenice Mock. Funeral: Thursday at 2 p. m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Minot. Visitation: Wednesday from noon until 7 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND. Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND.
