Bruce A. Wiese, Sr. 1960 - 2010 Bruce was born October 26, 1960 in Beatrice, Nebraska, to Willard and ValGean (Brugh) Wiese. He was raised and graduated from high school in Beatrice. He enlisted in the United States Air Force on May 25, 1979. He was first stationed at the Minot Air Force Base, where he met the love of his life, Donna. On January 31, 1981, Bruce married Donna Dove in Minot. They were stationed at Dyess AFB in Texas and Elmendorf AFB in Alaska, where he was honorably discharged and retired from the Air Force on May 31, 1999. The couple returned to Minot where Bruce worked for Menard’s, Sutteth Van Lines and civil service at the Minot Air Force Base, where he was employed at the time of his death. Bruce’s pride and joy were his two grandsons, Wilsyn and Wesley. He loved to work and in his spare time he enjoyed woodworking. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and exploring technology with his sons. He loved watching college football, especially the Nebraska Cornhuskers and enjoyed watching hockey. He was a member of the Eagles Aerie in Beatrice, Nebraska.
Bruce was preceded in death by a son, Carl Wiese, and his mother-in-law, Phyllis Dove. Graveside Service: Friday, September 3, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND. Visitation: Thursday, September 2, 2010, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND. Officiating Clergy: Rev.
