Cheryl D. Whorley 1948- 2005

Cheryl D. Whorley, 56, Minot, died Thursday, January 13, 2005, in her home.

Cheryl was born July 18, 1948, in Minot, ND, the daughter of Morton and Frances (Levchenko) Albertson. She was raised and educated attended Minot Public Schools until graduation.

Cheryl was blessed with three beautiful daughters, Katrina, Anita and Myndy. She worked hard in several different occupations, the most recent position as a daycare worker at Good Shepherd, which brought her great satisfaction, along with the fellowship of her church.

Cheryl was a member of the Salvation Army Church, Minot, where she helped with youth activities and was a member of the League of Mercy. She was also Correspondent Sergeant for the Women's Ministry, and was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons.

Survivors: Daughters, Katrina (Christopher) Stoken and Anita Whorley, all of Minot; two grandchildren, Jazlyn and Kolby Stoken; mother, Frances Albertson, Minot; sister, LeAnn Ahmann, Minot; brother, Charles Mattern, Minot; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins survive. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mindy Gilchrist; and her father, Morton Albertson.

Funeral: Thursday, January 20, 2005, at 11:00 a.m., at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND.

Visitation: Wednesday, January 19, 2005, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., and Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. to service time at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND.

Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND.
