Larry L. Whiteford-Werle 1959 - 2004

Larry L. Whiteford-Werle, 45, Granville, died Saturday from injuries sustained from a Motor Vehicle accident.

Larry was born October 25, 1959 to Dora (Drader) and Raymond Whiteford. Raymond died in 1982. He was raised on the family farm South of Upham. Larry attended school in Upham, until the eighth grade, when he returned to help out at the farm. His mother then married Edward Werle, whom adopted Larry as his own son.

On July 14, 1979, Larry married Nancy Fay Keyes, in Towner, ND. They made their home in Towner where he worked for Hutton Contracting. He also was employed by 3 C Construction of Bismarck. He drove semi-truck for Weist + MCT Trucking, and for Minot Builders. Larry and Nancy divorced in 1991.

He later married Arleen Simeono. They lived in Southheart, ND. They later divorced. He was currently employed by Bob Jaeger at the time of his death.

Larry loved to hunt and enjoyed going on trail rides. He also loved to drive his team of Pertrons.

Larry is survived by his daughters, Michelle Lee Werle and her boyfriend, Lance Lundy, Granville; Lorie Lee Werle and her fiancée, Sloane Jaeger, Granville; son, Darwin Werle and his girlfriend, Melissa Beesley, Granville; step-son, Robert Keyes, Las Vegas, NV; parents, Edward and Dora Werle, Upham; grandchildren, Samantha Lundy, Loren Lundy, and Raven Werle; ex-wife, Nancy Werle, Granville; brothers, Reuben Drader, Devils Lake, ND, and Curtis Werle, Lincoln City, OR; sister, Peggy Byrd, Drake; nephews: Justin Werle, Jason Werle, Aaron Gebur, and Billy May; nieces, Jennifer Werle, Jackie May, and Tara Gebur. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Whiteford.

Funeral: Friday, November 12 , 2004 at 1:00 p.m. New Hope Lutheran Church, Upham

Visitation: Thursday, November 11, 2004 from noon until 7:00 p.m. With a prayer service at 7:00 at the Funeral Home.

Burial: Bantry Union Cemetery, Bantry, ND
