Maxine Wendt 1922 - 2010 Maxine Burner was born on October 13, 1922, a daughter of Sam and Maude (Feeney) Burner in Crosby, ND. She was raised and educated in Crosby, graduating from Crosby High School. On May 22, 1945, Maxine was united in marriage to Russell Wendt in Sidney, MT. They made their home in Minot, where Maxine was a homemaker, raising the couple’s two children Robert and Joy. Russell died November 28, 1974. She continued to live in Minot. Maxine enjoyed gardening and flowers. Family was very important to her and spent as much quality time as she could with them. She was a member of the Elks Club and the Moose Lodge, both in Minot. Those who shared in her life: Son Robert (Beverly) Wendt, Minot; daughter Joy (Terry) Fecho, Cape Fair, MO; four grandchildren: Todd Fecho, Kari (Jeff) Hansen, Troy (Jen) Wendt, Jamie (fiancée Lee Barnett)Wendt; five great-grandchildren: Kelsey Hansen, Kyley Hansen, Addyson Wendt, Jayce Wendt, Hayleigh Fecho; brother: Jerome (Bud) Burner, Seattle, WA; sister Betti Lou Ransberger, Artesia, NM; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents and husband Russell. Visitation: Monday one hour prior to service time in the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home chapel, Minot Funeral Service: Monday, March 8, 2010 at 10 am at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
