Helen M. Weekley • 1930 - 2004 Helen M. Weekley, 73, Arthur, ND, formerly of Karlsruhe, died Sunday, in an Arthur Nursing Home. Helen was born December 13, 1930 in Grand Forks, ND, the sixth of twelve children to Ben and Katherine (Schwan) Kraft. She attended school in Karlsruhe for 3 years, upon which she was home schooled. Helen was married to Charles Weekley. They were married for three years, when he passed away. Helen was employed by the Highway Host in Grand Forks as a dishwasher for 4 years, before moving to Fargo. Helen was a member of the Women's Auxiliary, St. Michaels Catholic Church, Grand Forks. Survivors: sisters, Beatrice (Garland) Hoistad, Devils Lake, ND, Alice (James) Bringgold, Fairbault, MN, Marcella Milligan, Atascadero, CA. brothers, Ben, Great Falls, MT, Bill, Minot, ND, Jim , WA , Pat (Dianne), Minot, ND. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Helen was preceded in death by, her husband Charles, her parents, Ben and Katherine, and brothers, Pius, Albert, Marvin, and Leo. Mass of Christian Burial: Thursday, December, 16, 2004, at 1:30 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND. Vigil Prayer Service: Wednesday, December 15, 2004 at 5:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot.
