Deborah Deann Walcker 1954 - 2006 Deborah Deann Walcker, 51, 202 ½ Maple St, Minot, ND, died Sunday, January 15, 2006, at her home surrounded by her family from lung cancer. Deb was born on September 5, 1954, in Williston, ND, the daughter of Charles and Gertrude "Tomi" Vennes. In May of 1962, she moved from Williston to Minot, where she was raised. Deb was confirmed at Little Flower Catholic Church, Minot; and in 1972, she graduated from Bishop Ryan High School, Minot. Deb was married to Ronald E. Walcker on March 16, 1973, in Minot. They made their home in Minot, where together they raised their three daughters, Deanna, Ronda and Robin. They later divorced. Deb started working at H&R Block in Minot as a receptionist from January of 1980 to April of 1988 and then again part time in 2004 to 2005. On July 31, 1988, Deb went to work for Westlie Motor Company as a Cashier in the Service Department, a job she held until her diagnosis. In 1996, Deb met her life long partner Milo Schmeichel. Together in June of 2000, they welcomed their chocolate lab, Shooter. They spent many hours at their cabin on Deepwater Bay where they enjoyed fish feeds and bonfires. Deb enjoyed gardening, knitting, sewing, baking, canning, pinochle, darts, entertaining family and friends, especially the grandkids out on the deck. Deb was a strong believer in the Golden Rule, "Treat people as you would want to be treated." Deb was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church, Minot. Survivors: life long companion, Milo Schmeichel, Minot; mother, Tomi Vennes, Minot, daughters and sons-in-law, Deanna and Paul Stoll, Hospers, IA, Ronda and Jason Simmons, Parker, Co, and Robin and Cliff Jahner, Minot; Milo's sons, Shane Schmeichel and his companion, Eric Price, Minneapolis, MN and Flint and Lindsey Schmeichel, Golden, CO; grandchildren, Jaden, Tyler, Alexa and Devon Simmons, all of Parker, CO; sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Larry Self, Towner, ND brothers and sisters-in-law, Tom and Brenda Vennes, Dave and Brenda Vennes, Chuck Vennes and Shawna Kolobakken all of Minot and Jon Vennes Colorado Springs, CO; nieces, Randi, Breann, Kelsey, Shamie, Amanda and Emily; nephews, Justin, Michael, Brenden, Tyler and Andrew, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and Shooter. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Vennes, her grandparents and three uncles. Mass of Christian Burial: Wednesday, January 18, 2006,
