Mary E. Voeller, 42, Surrey, ND, went to be with the
Lord surrounded by her loving family.
Mary was born to Joseph S. Voeller and Lorraine (McKibben)
Voeller of Surrey. Mary graduated from Surrey High School in
1984, attended UND and a community college in Minneapolis. She
resided at the Courage Center in Minneapolis for 1 1/2 years,
where she gained many independent living skills.
Mary enjoyed âwheelingã over to Momás
house in the summer to help Mom on the garden. She loved sitting
in the sun and reading, watching and listening to the birds,
and playing with Maggie and Tony (her cats). She was an active
member of Hope Lutheran Church, Surrey, Thrivent Financial for
Lutherans Board in Surrey and the Surrey Senior Citizens.
Mary is survived by: Her mother, Lorraine Voeller,
Surrey; sisters, JoAnn Voeller and Karen (Richard) Kazmaier,
both of Surrey, Cheryl (Don) McGeary, Black Mountain, NC; brothers,
Jerry (Sharon), Minot, and Darrel (Barb), Des Moines, IA; nieces
and nephews, Tracy (Evan) Johnson, Todd Edwardson, Ben, Amy and
Joseph Evans, Darrel Sabbe Jr. and Jason Sabbe, Jennifer (Anthony)
Moore, Heather (Kelly) Rumbough and Lori (Jeremiah) Siemens;
and many great-nieces and great-nephews; and her very special
pets, Maggie and Tony.
Mary was preceded in death by her father, Joseph S.
Voeller; and grandparents, Irvin and Ruby McKibben and Martin
and Rosalia Voeller.
Services: Today, May 23, 2008, at 3 p.m. at
Hope Lutheran Church in Surrey.
