Barbara Voeller 1938 - 2011 Barbara Ann Rohrer was born July 25, 1938, a daughter of L.E. “Tubby” and Doris (Bauer) Rohrer, in Minot, ND. She was raised and educated in Minot, graduating from Minot High School in 1956. She then attended the Minot State Teachers College during the summer months and graduated with a B.S. degree in Education in 1968. For 15 years, she taught in various schools which included; Alamo, ND, Mandan, ND, Hilmar, CA, Great Falls, MT, Minot, ND, and Karlsruhe, ND. Barbara married Theodore R. Voeller August 16, 1969, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Karlsruhe. They made their home on the family farm near Karlsruhe. She was a charter member and founder of Outreach for Hearing Impaired Children, and was a former member of the McHenry County Special Education Board, and was a charter member of the Souris Valley Special Education Board, which is a consortium serving 29 separate schools in central North Dakota. She was the first woman ever elected to the Karlsruhe School Board and served as president for two of her six years of service. She was also a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Karlsruhe, where she was a member of the Christian Mother’s. She was recognized on Who’s Who list in North Dakota. She was involved with many educational pursuits and was an advocate for Hearing Impaired Children. Her loving family includes: husband of 41 years, Theodore, Karlsruhe; children, Roxane Voeller, Silver Springs, Maryland, Teddy Voeller, Minneapolis, MN, and Steven Voeller, Karlsruhe; grandchildren, Roxanna and Rasmine Voeller; Service Participants Music Honorary Bearers: Barbara’s family and friends Active Bearers: Teddy Voeller, Steven Voeller, Roxane Voeller, Candis Mock, Kelly Leathes, Tim Mock Immediately following the funeral mass,
