Kay E. Undlin 1941- 2011 Kay Knudson was born February 18, 1941, in Aberdeen, SD, to Douglas and Janet (Jones) Knudson. She graduated from Aberdeen High School and moved to Minot, where she attended Minot State College. Kay worked as a flight attendant for Frontier Airlines for several years and raised her two sons, Doug and Scott. In 1981 she married Roger Undlin. In the late ‘80s Kay operated Doug’s North Hill Bottle Shop and later worked at Trinity Homes in Minot as a Transport Aid for 13 years, until her retirement. Kay and Roger loved to travel the world. They also loved spending time at their cabin at Van Hook, where she enjoyed fishing. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter. She was a wonderful lady who will be deeply missed. Those who shared in her life, Husband, Roger, Minot; sons, Doug (Jayne) Haynie, Houston, TX, and Scott (Jenean) Haynie, Sharpsberg, GA; five grandchildren, Sarah, Blaine, Derek, Stella and Michael; one great-granddaughter, Lily; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Ron (Myrna) Undlin, Val Quintoa, and Jeff (Viona) Undlin, all of Minot; niece and nephew, Jessica and Joshua Undlin. Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Janet Knudson. Funeral: Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 1800 Hiawatha St., Minot, ND Visitation: Thursday, one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND. Officiating Clergy: Rev.
