Norma Tudahl • 1928- 2006 Norma Ruby Leona Kleven was born on November 2, 1928, on a farm south of Berthold the daughter of Peder and Annie (Johnson) Kleven. She was reared and educated in the Berthold area and graduated from Berthold High School in 1946. After her graduation, she attended Minot State Teachers College where she earned her teaching certificate. She taught in one-room schools south of Berthold from 1946 to 1947 and from 1953 to 1955. She married Carroll Tudahl on October 5, 1947, in Berthold, where the couple spent the majority of their married life. Carroll passed away on July 28, 2000, in Minot. Norma continued to reside in Berthold until her death. Norma was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, the church circle, the American Legion Auxiliary, the Senior Citizens Club, and the Progressive Homemakers Club, all of Berthold. Norma enjoyed spending time with her family, especially Sunday dinners. Everyone knew there was always a fresh pot of coffee on and that everyone was welcome to stop by! Survivors: sons, Gary (Joyce) Tudahl, Berthold, Ronnie (Beth) Tudahl, Post Falls, ID, Tony (Karen) Tudahl, Des Lacs, ND, Keith Tudahl, Berthold and Brady (Brenda) Tudahl, Minot; grandchildren, Scott Tudahl, Shannon (Karen) Tudahl, Joshua Tudahl, Christopher Gray, Kyle Tudahl, Tyler Tudahl, Brandon Gray, Hayden Tudahl, Stephanie (Juan) Godinez, Jessica (Eric) Lee, Sarah (Nathan) Fagerland, and Ashley Tudahl; great-grandchildren, Kayla and Gavin Tudahl, Jacie and Benjamin Fagerland, Chaylin Ferra-Tudahl and Kaleb Gray; brothers, Archie (Marlene) Kleven, Mentor, MN and Peter (Janice) Kleven, Des Lacs, ND; sisters, Martha Elstoen, Berthold and Doris Edwardson, Minot; numerous nieces, nephews and many special friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll, granddaughter, Jennifer Tudahl, parents, Peder and Annie, and brothers, Lloyd and Arnot Kleven. Funeral Service: Tuesday, May 23, 2006, 10:30 a.m.
