Anna Lou Thompson 1938 - 2003 Anna Lou Thompson, 64, Maxbass, died Saturday, October 4, 2003 at her home. Anna Lou was born to Herbert and Nellie (Paige) Jones on December 30, 1938, at Bantry, ND. She lived in Bantry and attended Bantry Elementary School until 1949. She then moved to Minot where she attended Minot Junior and Senior High School graduating in 1956. During her high school years she was employed by F. W. Woolworth and her senior year she was employed by Steenstrup Jewelry Store. On October 12, 1958, she married Veryl "Bud" Thompson in Minot. They lived in Maxbass and farmed on the family farm near Maxbass their entire married lives. She also worked at the Renville Corner Café and Deva Lifewear, Westhope, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Her husband, Veryl "Bud" Thompson died on October 3, 1997. She was a member of the Maxbass Methodist Church until it
closed. She then became a member of the English Lutheran Church
at Maxbass. During their married years she was active in the
Maxbass School Board, the PTA, and the Maxbass City Council. Her funeral will be on Wednesday, October 8, at 11
a.m. at English Lutheran Church, Maxbass, ND. Officiant: Rev.
