John A. Thiessen • 1945 - 2010 John was born on October 27, 1945, the son of John and Norma (Wiens) Thiessen in Devils Lake, North Dakota. He was raised in Munich, ND and Grand Forks, ND. He graduated from Central High School in Grand Forks, ND in 1963. He lived his adult life in Fargo, ND, until he moved to Manor Care in Minot, ND in November 2009, due to health reasons. While he lived in Fargo he did various jobs through the Svee house. Survivors: brother, Vern (Cheryl) Thiessen, Minot; sisters, Shirley Thiessen, Grand Forks, ND and Donna K. Kraft, Dickinson, ND. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Ed Kraft. There will be a private graveside service at Memorial Park Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND at a later time. To sign the online guest
