Susan L. Kveset Teets 1953 - 2005

Susan L. Kveset Teets, 51, 1331 4th St. SW, Minot, ND, died Thursday, September 29, 2005, at Trinity Hospital.

Susan Lynn "Sue" Kveset was born on November 4, 1953, the daughter of Richard and Helen (Chapman) Kveset in Minot, North Dakota. She was raised in Minot and attended Minot High School. She was baptized and confirmed at Bethany Lutheran Church, Minot. As a young adult, she had worked at Earna's Restaurant and the Sandman Hotel in Minot.

Sue was united in marriage to Steven Teets on July 4, 1976, at Lake Sakakawea, ND. They made their home at Sumner, WA, where she worked for the Parks Department and the Sumner School District. They later divorced and in 2003, she moved back to Minot, where she was employed by Trinity Hospital as a housekeeper.

Sue enjoyed gardening, Bingo, collecting clowns, puzzles, hook rugging, and walking, especially on beaches.

Surviving family includes: children, Crystal Lynn Teets and Amber Lee Teets, both of Bonney Lake, WA; and Steven Lee Teets, Jr., Auburn, WA; grandson, Isaiah Marcus Teets; and another one on the way; mother, Helen Kveset, Minot; father, Richard R. (Rose) Kveset, Tampa, FL; sisters, Cindy (Curtis) Scheafer and Theresa Coffee, both of Minot; brothers, Bobby Lee Kveset and his fiancé, Joy P., Minot; companion, Lester Phillips, Minot; her loving dog, Stanley; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Sue was preceded in death by her sister, Tina Kveset-Gorley; and brother, Richard S. Kveset II.

Memorial Service: Tuesday, October 4, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot, ND.

There will be no reviewal, but friends may sign the register book on Monday from Noon until 5 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
