Eloise Josephine "Ellie"
Swenson • 1950- 2006 Ellie was born August 22, 1950 in Minot, ND the daughter of Harry and Helen (Wright) Klatt. She was raised and educated in Mohall and graduated from Mohall High School in 1968. While growing up she was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Tolley. She attended St. Joseph's School of Hair Design in Minot and later worked as a beautician in Kenmare. On July 1, 1972 Ellie married Jerome Swenson in Tolley. They lived in several communities in North Dakota before making their home in Minot. With Ellie's health conditions she was fortunate and blessed to give birth to their only daughter, Laurel Swenson on April 25, 1973. While living in Minot Ellie worked as a waitress at the Copper Pot Resaurant and also at Burger King for many years. Ellie loved her family very much. She also enjoyed crocheting, knitting and doing different crafts. Survivors: Husband, Jerome Swenson; Daughter, Laurel (Tracey) McClellan; granddaughters, Lacey Swenson and Layaunee McClellan, all of Minot; mother, Helen Klatt, and brother, Robert (Teresa) Klatt, all of Mohall; sister, Rosemary Klatt of Rugby; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins survive. Ellie was preceded in death by her father, Harry Klatt; grandparents, Albert and Ella Klatt, and Robert and Josephine Wright. Memorial Service: Friday, September 22, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND. Visitation: There will be no reviewal, cremation has
