Vera Alice Stredwick 1923 - 2004 Vera Alice Stredwick, 81, Aurora, Colorado, formerly of Minot, died Monday, December 27, 2004, in the Aurora Care Center. She was born January 27, 1923, in Roseglen to Barney and Ethel Bradley. Vera was raised and educated there. She married G. K. "Bud" Stredwick November 5, 1942, in Camas, Washington. After his discharge from the Army in 1946, they located to Minot and later moved to Kenosha, Wisconsin. In 1962, they relocated to Aurora, Colorado where they continued to live through their retirements. Bud died May of 1996. Surviving family includes: Daughter and son-in-law, Marlene and Thomas Lau, Bettendorf, IA; son, Darwin Stredwick, Aurora; granddaughter and husband, Kelli and Mark Jensen, Houston, Texas; and grandson, Brent Lau, Stitzer, Wisconsin; three sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Vera was preceded in death by her husband, "Bud"; one sister, Margaret Rosenberg; three brothers, Ivan, Frank and Harry Bradley; and parents. Funeral: Sunday, January 2, 2005, at 2:00 pm at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
